Swimming is Soothing

June 3rd already. What's new? We opened the pool for Memorial Day weekend. It was a big hit here at Arden Ridge with high temperatures already reaching 100. The painters will be on the property painting the stairwells and front doors. Please give them the space and courtesy they need to get the job done. Have a wonderful summer!

Wednesday Hump Day

Who named it? Do you know the origin of this saying? The middle of a work week used to climb a proverbial hill to get through a tough week. For some it is the day of maximum hope that maybe you might make it out of this week alive. When Brian Regan was a boy he would claim the hump in the middle of the back seat since his brothers were older than him. "I'm the hump boy" he would exclaim. Are you old enough to remember those days?

100 DEGREES

Thursday evening and it's HOT! Cinco de Mayo is having a celebration down on the paseo this weekend. Jazz and other good music downtown. River Stage will have their first ballet. Wear sunscreen and enjoy they Weekend!

San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts says it's Field Trip Season for school children. They also posted some photos from the April 16th ceramic competition. Go to Facebook.com for Arden Ridge site. April Fools Day has come and gone

Did you fool anybody? In the past people have pulled the wool over my eyes but now I'm a little smarter. "Life is short, forgive quickly, love truly, kiss slowly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile." (author unknown)
I love to laugh and when I listen to a comedy cd and hear the laughter in the background, it makes me laugh even harder. It stimulates endorphins. So find someone and something to laugh about today.

THURSDAY THIRSTY

I hear Sonic still has Happy Hour for their yummy fruit slushes. Now that the weather is warmer I'll make it a point to go for that. At Arden Ridge we are getting apartments ready by doing a full paint and preparing for new tenants to move in. It will probably be a very HOT day in the summer when the parking lot gets recoated and stripped. Before that the pool will be open and lots of fun will be had there. Hope to see ya soon.

Rainy Day in San Angelo

Don't let it get you down. The sun will shine tomorrow and put a smile on your face. We need the rain right now and the farmers are happy. For us gals a little extra blush and a bright lipstick will keep us from looking washed out. If you want to walk (but not in the rain) go to the mall. They open the doors early even if the stores aren't. Do some window shopping and make a wish list. Whatever you do have a Great Day!

It's a New Day It's a New Dawn

Wow, what a great comment I got from a tenant yesterday. I hope more of you get on this site and let me know how you feel. Today is March 2, 2010. A day for thinking about our city, a day for voting, and everyone has a voice. So, get out there today from 7am to 7pm at the voting place for your area and feel good about it.

Snowy Tuesday

What a blizzard we encountered today. It's almost 4:30 and the sun is peaking out and melting alot of the snow, but it's still freezing out. Hope you all are staying warm. Take extra measures by putting rolled up towels at the window sills, not opening the front door for long periods of time and maybe using an electric blanket on your bed.
3 D should be on the property Wednesday to do some work. Please be prepared in case the water needs to go off for any reason. Thanks and sorry for any inconvenience.

Cool Monday

The coliseum was packed Sunday with great performances and a fantastic crowd. Best of Show photography winners in the Creative Arts competition were McGehee and Wilke.
3 D will be on the property today working on the plumbing. Hopefully this will help our system work more efficiently. Also, we will be having the old fence tore out around the pool area and replace it with a rod iron fence. Sure will look good.

Sweet Sunday

Sunday is a day of rest for most of us. For those who have to work let us be caring and forgiving towards them.
March 2, 2010 is voting day. I read about some of the candidates in today's paper. Anyone needing information can call the Voters Registration at 659-6542. They are most helpful, so go see them for your voting card during the week.

It's Saturday

Did you see the parade this morning? I did on TV. Right now I am delivering Letters introducing myself, Nina Hinkley, and attached is the information concerning the new owners. It's a beautiful day and the Rodeo is in town. If you are more the type to browse throught the exhibits, that's where I would be. Visiting with people, making new friends, and seeing what they have to offer.

New Name New Ownership

What a great day it is! The new owners took over on February 17, 2010 and are excited to announce to you the new name of "Arden Ridge Apartments" on 3801 Arden Road in San Angelo, Texas 76901.

I would like to introduce myself, my name is Nina and I am the new manager as of the 17th. I am looking forward to meeting everyone as they have a chance to come by and visit, we have cookies and cokes waiting for you in the office. We have a lot of changes going on and I am looking forward to updating everyone as these begin taking form. We are excited to be a part of this community and are really looking forward to the upgrads in the coming months. I think everyone will be pleased with the new staff and new ownership.

For Starters - we are looking at several positive changes, we will begin with the pool area and basketball courts and soon will have noticable improvements to the exterior paint and continued upgrads interior. Please come by and let me introduce myself as I am ready to work with you now and in the future.

We are really starting from scratch but would like to assure everyone that there will be some positive changes and our goal is to improve the service to you as well as keeping operations running smooth and as close to normal as possible.

I am really looking forward to meeting everyone. Come by introduce yourself and have a soda with me. Let's talk.
